Who We Are
Direct Impact Empowerment Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to addressing youth unemployment and poverty in Africa. Founded with a vision to empower young people and foster sustainable development, we focus on creating opportunities through skill acquisition, entrepreneurial support, and community-driven initiatives.
We are based in Apata, Ibadan, Nigeria, where we're building a model for youth empowerment that can be replicated across the continent. Our holistic approach combines vocational training, financial support, and business development to unlock the potential of Africa's youth, enabling them to contribute meaningfully to their communities and economies.
Our Mission
To empower at least 500 youth every five years through specialist training, business incubation, micro-credit access, and foundational education, equipping them with the tools to build thriving careers, businesses, and communities.

Specialist Fashion Design Training
Offering hands-on training in advanced fashion design, enabling youth to acquire employable skills and establish their own businesses.
Micro-Credit Scheme
Providing accessible funding to graduates, empowering them to purchase essential equipment and kickstart their ventures.
Business Incubation and Acceleration
Supporting young entrepreneurs with mentorship, advanced training, and resources to scale their businesses and compete in local and global markets.
Self-Reliance initiatives
Providing support to vulnerable individuals by helping them establish small-scale startup businesses, enabling them to achieve financial independence to sustain themselves

Our Story
Direct Impact Empowerment Foundation was born out of a desire to address the challenges of unemployment and poverty in Nigeria. Our founder, led by Eka Oga Reuben, saw the immense potential in youth across Apata, Ibadan, and envisioned a future where every young person had access to meaningful opportunities.
With a team of passionate professionals, we began this journey by focusing on the untapped potential in Nigeria's fashion industry—a sector capable of transforming lives and contributing significantly to the economy. Today, we continue to grow, driven by our unwavering commitment to create a sustainable model for youth empowerment.
